About Steve Ranni
Steve Ranni was born on Cape Breton Island in Sydney Nova Scotia, and currently lives in Fredericton, New Brunswick, with his wife, Denise. He has served in the Canadian Forces, for nearly two decades, serving one NATO tour in Bosnia in 2003.
Transitioning from the military, Steve embarked on a new chapter of learning and spiritual growth. He holds a degree in theology as well as diplomas in Lay Ministry and Advanced Biblical and Theological Studies. Following his studies Steve has served as a Pastor for close to a decade.
Inspired by his own life experience and his faith in the guidance of God, Steve wrote Up from the Ashes to show that reconciliation and resolving family problems is possible and to spread hope for a better today and tomorrow. It was his first novel.
Steve’s second book is a non-fiction entitled Walking in the Spirit, A 90-Day Journey to a Spirit-Led Life. This devotional invites you into a season of deep spiritual renewal, one step, one surrender, one prayer at a time. These powerful devotionals will help you move beyond surface faith into a living, vibrant relationship with God through the Holy Spirit.
In addition to writing, Steve enjoys golfing, boating, travel, and, most of all, spending time with his family and precious grandchildren.
